The LeMoyne-Owen women's volleyball team has faced their fair share of adversity this season, after getting off to a 0-7 start. The Lady Magicians have been swept in six of their seven matches and are looking to get their first win of the season this upcoming Monday.
The team will host Tougaloo College on September 13th at Bruce-Johnson Hall. Last season the two teams played and split with both teams winning on their home court. Getting off to slow start was a problem the team face last season as well, after getting off to a 1-6 start.
In their most recent loss they were outscored 25-9, 25-4, and 25-16 by the University of Arkansas Monticello. "Despite our record I believe that we are getting better each match, and that we will be just fine when conference play rolls around", said head coach
Reginald Morris.
The Lady Magicians will be looking to protect their home floor and get their first win of the season in front of the fans at Bruce-Johnson Hall. The match is set to start at 5:00pm.
