Game 1
Lemoyne Owen College men's baseball team fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-2 loss to Miles College on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Bears took the lead on a double in the second inning.
The Magicians struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Miles, giving up 13 runs.
The Golden Bears got things started in the second inning when they doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Miles golden bears scored five runs in the seventh inning.
Avery Willis took the loss for the Magicians. Willis pitched six innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits.
LeMoyne-Owen tallied six hits in the game, Justin Williams and
George Diaz each had multiple hits in the game. Diaz and Williams both connected two hits to lead the Magicians.
Game 2
Sunday was a long day for LeMoyne-Owen College, falling to Miles golden bears 9-0.

Alex Rodriguez in the second inning was a positive for the Magicians who just couldn't get anything going.
Long took the win for Miles golden bears. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero.
Emari Mills took the loss for the Magicians. Mills lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and nine runs while striking out seven.
Breeze Johns, Deathony Baker, Rod,
Jordan Govea, and Justin Williams each managed one hit to lead the Magicians.
Games 3
Struggles continued for the Magicians in the third game of the weekend vs. Miles College. The Magicians have now droppedfive games straight since their last victory at against Benedict College.
The Magicians have had a hard time keeping their opponents off the scoreboard and have struggled at times to drive in runs. The Magicians are now 4-14 on the season and will look to get back on the right track March 15th where they will travel to Mississippi Valley State University.
