With back to back conference wins over Clark-Atlanta and Edward Waters the Magicians are now 10-4.

The LOC mens basketball team is off to a hot start with signature wins over top 25 ranked Virginia Union, Benedict College and their latest win over Edward Waters.

The Magicians are currently 5-2 in conference play, they are tied with Tuskegee for first place in the SIAC West Standings. "We still feel ike we have a lot of room for improvement, and have some things we need to clean up this second half of the season", said Magicians head coach Bonzi Wells.

LOC defeated Edward Waters 76-66 at home, giving them their final win of 2022. The Magicians were led in scoring by guards Andrew Anderson and Jeremiah Miller who scored 13 points each. Sophomore  forward Micah Evans also scored in double figures pouring in 10 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

The team will return to action January 2nd on the road at Savannah State University. The game is scheduled for 7:30pm.
