The LOC women's basketball team falls to 0-2 after losses to Mississippi College and Delta State University in SIAC-GSC Challenge. 

The team loss at Mississippi College 52-61 and 39-61 on the road at Delta State. This time last year the team competed in the same  challenge and lost to both teams. 

The team continues to struggle offensively shooting just %30 percent from the field and %28 from the three point arc. At the free-throw line the Lady Magicians are shooting just over %50 percent. 

Through two games, junior guard Sierra Lynch is leading the team in scoring with 14ppg, shooting %40 percent from the field . Senior guard Jess Myers has been the teams second leading scorer at 9.8 ppg. "We have to take better care of the ball and start hitting shots, it's really that simple", said the 5'3 guard from St.Louis, MO. 

Next up, the team will travel to Fisk University on Wednesday,November 16th .

This will be the first of two games with Fisk this season, looking to get their first win. The game is scheduled to start at 5:00pm
