The LOC men's basketball team is now 2-0 after this past weekends SIAC-GSC crossover. 

The Magicians opened up the season with a 81-62 win over Delta State University, and beat Christian Brothers University 74-66 two days later. 

Through two games sophomore Micah Evans is leading leading the Magicians in scoring and rebounding with 16ppg and 6rpg. Also averaging double figures through the first two games are returning guards Gjerard Wilson (13ppg) and Andrew Anderson (12ppg). "What's been most impressive about these guys is how well they have been rebounding, we've challenged them to do so and they have answered", said Magicians head coach Bonzi Wells. 

It's been a total team effort for the Magicians through two games. The team has gotten quality minutes from several players off their bench. The Magicians bench is currently averaging 27 points per game. 

Next up the Magicians will travel to Fisk University this Wednesday November 16th. The Game is scheduled for 7:00pm
