The LOC women's volleyball team fell short this weekend on the road at Miles College. 

With this most recent loss the Lady Magicians are now 2-16 and 0-7 in conference play. Despite losing in three sets, coach Reginald Morris and his young ball club gave the Lady Golden Bears all they could handle. 

The Lady Magicians stayed within five points in all three sets losing 20-25, 24-26, and 21-25 in the third set. 

For the second consecutive game, freshman Lauren Canady led the team in kills (12), while Kaylyn Harris dished out 21 assists. Defensively, Ashaqway McThomas played a good floor game for the team, tallying a match high 14 digs. 

The team will return to action Wednesday, October 5th.The match will be played at Fisk University and will begin at 5:00pm.
