Memphis, Tn. --- Albany State University seemed to be in control of this game. ASU came in and made eleven threes. This was Lemoyne Owens best scoring output of the regular season. The Lady Magicians are now on a six-game winning streak, 7-4 overall and 4-2 in SIAC conference play.

How It Happened

LOC went on an eleven to zero run after a made three pointer by ASU to start the game. Albany would battle back to take a 18-15 lead going into the second quarter. In the second quarter, the Lady Magicians shot 47% from the field, 50 % from three, and 100% from the line. LeMoyne went into the half with a one-point lead. The Lady Rams responded with there best scoring performance of the evening in the third quarter, which gave them a three point lead headed into the fourth. ASU would go up by as many as ten points a little over midway through the fourth quarter. Sentreal Gregory made back to back baskets in order to cut the lead to five. Gregory's baskets were followed up by back to back two-point baskets by freshman Tya Freeman. Free throws by Lamontazia Blair and Gabbie Morgan would seal the game 80-74.
