    The Lady Magicians dominated in their game against Miles College. Freshman Daisha Watson protected the back row with 3 blocks and many tips slowing down the attempted kills by Miles College. Kamiaha Yancy a freshman, assisted 28 hits thanks to the help of NaPorsha Gilliam's 15 digs.Tayler Phillips, Naveta Berry and Jakaya Brawley all had outstanding game on the front row.

    After the game Jakaya Brawley commented "We started off strong, ended strong. We had great energy throughout the game." She went on to say "This was an early game and it clearly showed on the opposing teams' performance. Porsha took a lot of hits that prevented the other team from scoring so that had a huge effect on today's win."
