Tony Sarwar is entering his fourth year as the associate Head Coach with the Magicians basketball team. Coach Sarwar started off as the strength and conditioning coach for the men's basketball team. He has been promoted up the ranks and is also the lead recruiting coordinator for the program.
Since joining the team, Coach Sarwar has help build the program to two conference finals appearances, and completed 2018 as his best season with 22 wins and the finals appearance.
Coach Sarwar has a background in strength and conditioning training as well as skill training. In the off season Sarwar works with NBA basketball players to advance their games and get them in better shape. In the off season he worked out NBA players lead with Memphis native and local legend Thaddeus Young (a member of the Chicago Bulls).
Tony worked with Team Thad Under Armour AAU program which won a national championship in 2018. Coach T also worked with Houston High School for four years. Coach has worked at all levels, coaching and training players. He is certified in strength and conditioning, first aid response, personal training, master trainer and sports nutritionist.
Tony Sarwar believes in pushing athletes to reach their full potential through avenues such as: diet, nutrition, strength, agility, spirituality, and conditioning; then taking those lessons and learning to create the best life possible. " We work to make our players bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled on and off the court"
