The SIAC released it's -2023 all conference selections Saturday April 15th. For the first time in over 5 seasons there was  more than one LOC player selected to the team.  

Natalya Ogunwale of Albany State was  named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Year and headlines the 2023 All-SIAC Team. Albany State's head coach Jo Ann Matthews was named 2023 SIAC Coach of the Year. While Valerie Essome of Benedict earned this year's Freshman of the Year honors.

The LOC women's team was well represented on this years women's all-conference team with standouts Chido Chimbetete and Taylor Frierson being selected. Frierson, and Chimbetete we're the two most experienced players on the Magicians roster this year and provided leadership and guidance to some of the less experienced players on the team. They also played some of their best tennis this season and were competitive each match, giving their opponents all they could handle.

The honors, announced Saturday, were determined by votes from the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
