The LOC men's golf team finished tenth in their season opener in the Union University Golf invitational.  

Union finished with a +9 873 (300, 288, 285), just nine shots back of Missouri S&T's even par tournament win. Union's 288 in the second round was a round best. 

Christian Brothers was third, Delta State fourth, William Jewell fifth, Illinois Springfield sixth, Quincy, seventh, Oxford and Emory eighth, Haskell Indian National ninth, and the Magicians finished tied for ninth.

Up next for the Magicians will be the Buccaneer Spring Classic hosted by Christian Brothers University March 6-7 at the Irene Golf Club in Memphis, Tenn.
