The LeMoyne-Owen men's golf team has had its fair share of ups and down this season and just recently competed in the SIAC conference tournament.
The team finished 5th out of 6 teams and learned that they still have work to do before they can be elite in the conference. The Magicians will finish their season up in the Minority PGA invitational and have high hopes for winning the invitational. The team still has about three weeks to prepare and are confident that they will have a better showing than they did the last time out. "We continued to improve this whole season and I think these guys are starting to turn the corner and are playing more consistent", said Magicians coach Tony Holmes.
The tournament will begin May 4th and a champion will be crowned May 8th. This will be the last completion of the season for the Magicians.
