Five out of the last six conference games have gone to overtime. The Lady Magicians had to go into overtime to beat the the ladies of Central State. LeMoyne Owen jumped out to a 7-0 run to start the game. The Lady Marauders would fight their way back and take control at the end of the first quarter, leading 24-15. The Lady Magicians would fight back in the second quarter and cut the lead to three on a made layup by Destinique Williams. Coming out of halftime Central States Daesjah Ely made a three to put the Marauders up by six. CSU would go onto lead by as many as eleven points with a little over six minutes to go in the third quarter. After a timeout but Coach Antony Partee LOC had a series of stops and runs to win the quarter 21-20. The fourth quarter was basket for basket and shot for shot to send the game into overtime. In the overtime period the Lady Magicians won overtime 15-10; this would propel the women of LOC to a 93-58 win.
