It's a new season for the Lady Magicians women's volleyball team and they are already getting awards. Jasmine Davis made the preseason all SIAC team. Jasmine is a junior and is an outside hitter for the team. Naporsha Gilliam was also listed on the preseason all conference team as Libero. 

The Lady Magicians are picked to finish third in the west division within the Southern Athletic Collegiate Conference (SIAC) in this years preseason polls. The team is coming off a year in which they finished number one in the regular season and came in second in the SIAC championship. 

Coach Morris has brought in a lot of new players to help the Lady Magicians get back to that championship form. 

The season will open up on the road in Huntsville Alabama. The team will play four tough games in two days; they will play West Georgia, Ouachita Baptist, University of Alabama Huntsville, and Auburn University Montgomery.
